Despite the headline stating it’s “Certified Refurbished”, it wasn’t done by Apple. There was no manufacturer warranty remaining on this particular unit. The lightning cable and charger were new but from a third party. The screen was a bit dirty and should’ve had some attention to detail. I chose to immediately return the package. It was not in my scope nor met my expectations. Update 10/10/2018 - I tried a second unit by another Amazon reseller (Vius) and at a much lower price. These refurbishment is a simple wipe of the device. Genuine Apple refurbished devices will get a new battery and exterior case. The balance would be expectation vs price...
