★☆☆☆☆
unsafe, non-economical, bogus specs.
The lamp I received is rather dim, significantly dimmer then I expected. Took to work, measured brightness (with calibrated luxmeter), got only 237lumen. Also, when I opened the box I found ... no electronics inside. There is NO usual small board which stabilizes current through LED. Instead, there is big 10Watt (!) 0.75OHm resistor connected in series with LED (this resistor works as an ancient "current stabilizer"; and at the same time waste about 15% energy (generating just a heat and no light). So much for "efficient LED light"! This is a minor problem. The biggest problem: there is no any electronics controlling the charge of Li-ion batteries. Manufacturer simply supplies an AC/DC adapter for 8.4V. If you know electronics a little bit you will know that this is VERY unsafe method to charge Li-ion batteries. They can explode any time on you. This contraption reminds me fake chinese Flash cards (or USB sticks). What a typical chinese fake product! And on top of it, it is very unsafe! Added: the specs are bogus as well. Stated capacity of internal battery is a 2.2Ah (Amper-hour), about 8V output (there are two Li-ion batteries connected in series, each one is about 4V). The specs also says: 10W LED. So, lets do a math. 10W at 8V gives us about 1.25 Amp nominal current through that LED chip. With 2.2Ah battery we have a working time of about 1h 45min. How come the seller says "Working time: 3-4 hours when fully charged" ?!
