I ordered this as a replacement after my cheap but reliable monitor from Walmart broke after several years of constant use. I regret the purchase of this monitor and plan to find another cheap monitor from Walmart. This monitor cuts in and out for several seconds up to about 20 seconds at a time when there is constant sound such as music in my baby’s room. Since there is no static or white noise, I’m not sure if/when it is working when my baby’s room doesn’t have background sound. I’m not sure if this is normal, but based on other reviews, it must be common. I wish I would have read more reviews rather than looking at the average review. DON’t BUY THIS MONITOR.
