NOT WATERPROOF!!! If you're looking for waterproof this absolutely is NOT what you want. We ordered two of these for our older, occasionally incontinent dog thinking they were waterproof. How can AMAZON advertise these as waterproof??? After we received them and read the info on the package we realized that the word -WATERPROOF- was nowhere to be found. But wait . . . there was a wee little sticker/strip directly beneath the product name. Peeling the littler sticker off there was the word -WATERPROOF-. Hmmm . . . was the product once waterproof but somehow it was discovered that it was not actually waterproof. In fact it's not even water resistant??? BUT, it is washable! Therefore we will be able to wash it every time our old, incontinent dog has a leak. AND if we discover it in time we may be able to salvage the bedding inside the cover or of course we could wash that as well. This is definitely not the product we were looking for. In fact I'm not sure what good this cover would be, especially since they sell a cover for this cover. Have you ever seen a disposable doggie bed cover? I think each one I've ever seen was washable which is the only claim that can be made for this cover. IT IS WASHABLE, so order several if you have a dog with an incontinence problem. LW
