Well, I fell for price this time and you do not get something for nothing. I thought I had nothing to lose for $42 for this umbrella. Wrong. This thing came out of the box falling apart, not from shipping but because it it put together with little bent wire pieces that hold the top together (well, it does NOT hold the top together) and about the thinnest metal that foundries can produce. When I put it up and raised it, all of the top pieces flew out and the small ring of metal (about the thickness of a coat hanger wire) and one of them tore the fabric; after about an hour I was able to route all of the ribs back into the wire ring and into place and got that fixed. While working on it, I noticed about 10-15 small spots in every inch of fabric where the dye (red) had not taken....rubbing on them caused more red to come off...this thing has been SPRAYED red, not even red dyed fabric! NOTICE the ad says "8 sturdy ribs".....maybe the ribs are sturdy by someone's standard, but they are not adequate. This is not even worth hauling to the dump. I am going to pursue getting a refund from Amazon....this thing is horrible.
