Bests & Worsts Reviews from Amazon

I learned of the Shark steam mop from and good friend, who raved about it. I thought it might be the solution to my problems. Before I purchased the mop, I read most of the reviews and the product information, and then went ahead with the purchase. I have tough floors: slate tile and wood; and, I live in the mountains with dogs, mud-tracking husband, and various other insults. I loved the ease of the use of the mop (it saved my back) but it just did not get the tough dirt etc off my floors. I ended up re-mopping them the old-fashioned way, with a bucket of water. So, the mop may work well on "normal" floors, but on my slate floors with the type of traffic I have on them, it just did not do a good enough job for my tastes.
