If you own an Android Phone and the Amazon App is already installed on it, leave it alone!.... DO NOT DOWNLOAD/Upgrade to the Amazon App with the Blue Background with the Orange shopping Cart (The Amazon App with the WHITE BACKGROUND AND BLUE SHOPPING CART IS OKAY). I just spent the last week recovering & resetting all my email accounts, canceling all my credit cards and having new ones reissued (Including my Amazon Credit Card), Closing my bank account and opening a new one, contacting every account that had an app and was downloaded on my phone and inform them that my phone was HACKED!.... It has been a complete nightmare!... This App is a third party app and it’s being offered to Amazon customers via the Amazon website. Once you download it, it will back door into your device and allow Cyber Criminals to obtain all your information. This is a very dangerous App, that request way too much access for what its purpose is for. The Hackers were so good, that they even accessed my google backup account and deleted everything out of it, along with everything in my email accounts, sent, received, saved, etc and then they locked me out of my own device with a password that I NEVER set, because my cell phone comes with a “Finger Scan Recognition”, so I had to completely do a Factory Reset on my device and I lost EVERYTHING!.…. They activated google tracking and were tracking my every move and were even turning the device on to listen to my conversations. Now I know why I kept finding random snapped photos of me and places that I had been in my photo albums, when I never even accessed the camera? WTH? STAY FAR AWAY FROM THIS APP!.....
