After wasting a ton of time fiddling with this and it not working at all, I noticed way down at the bottom of the item description, it mentions this is a unidirectional cable (video source displayport, destination hdmi). I needed to connect with the opposite polarity. I've never heard of a unidirectional cable, so wouldn't have even thought to check. This needs to be WAY more clear -- as in, prominently in the item title.
