I admit that I only managed to read 3% of this omnibus. I was bored and it did not hold my interest. The main investigator had very little personality at this point in the story and the various other people seemed entirely one dimensional. I might have tried to stick it out but the pub conversation regarding the taste of a woman's vagina turned me off completely. Perhaps the comedic aspect is something only British readers would get, but I also didn't find anything humorous in the bit that I was able to get through. Overall, a waste of money, in my opinion.
