I'm not one to write reviews but my experience was so bad, I had to say something. I have to be clear, I'm an I.T. administrator. I support multiple offices and Networks and Computer network is my business. I was very excited to order the HP OfficeJet Pro 7740 printer. I 've used an HP OfficeJet 8600 Premium all in one for years. No problems in 8 years, maybe more. Finally, the OfficeJet 8600 stopped working, while researching for a replacement I saw this HP OfficeJet Pro 7740 Wide Format All-in-One Printer. This would have been perfect for me, I've been looking for a color printer that can print on 11x17 size paper. The printer arrives, set it up and there was a system error out of the box. So I couldn't print a single test page. I figured this got to be a fluke, it happens, I returned the defected unit and replaced it with the same printer. Second printer, different issues. When you print on 11x17 media, the printouts are not square on the page. although I HP purchaed high-quality paper, the image quality for this printer was poor. I have the printer connected through Ethernet. The scanner constantly reporting, "the scanner could not be completed." ultimately called amazon support, they connected me to HP support. The HP tech support was so rude and condescending to me. This man had no business being on the phone speaking with customers. Terrible customer service. He temporarily fixed the scanning issue but the very next day, the same scanner issues again. I've had it at this point and returned the second printer to amazon. So disappointed with HP tech support, No need to be rude to customers. And just a bad product. Come on HP you're better than this.
