This item did not work out for me. I have a Samsung S8 and was so excited when I recieved this product. The first few days it seemed to work as described, even while in the Otterbox case. After those first few days though, I noticed it started taking longer to charge, much longer, like taking 1hour to charge 10%. So I tried different things, removed the case, turned it portrait vs landscape on the charger, but it didn't matter. It eventually turned into it taking 6-8 hours to fully charge so I had to return it. My situation may just be an isolated incident and maybe I possibly just received a defective charger. I was so excited to get this based on all the prior reviews, but it didn't work out for me. Also, when I investigated online to see if other users were experiencing this same issue, I did find some posts about that, that it started out working as described, but then for whatever reason, just started taking way longer to charge. So unfortunately this was a bust for me :-(
