Not even a burlescue.
Just awful. AWFUL. The Gwyneth Paltrow version showed some respect for the novel. And was, I think, pretty decent. This thing was beyond words terrible. If Ms. Austen were alive I bet she'd sue...and I'd help her pay the costs.
