Bests & Worsts Reviews from Amazon

If this were simply "Amazon brand fantasy show" I may be blown away, visuals are pretty great. Dialogue can be pretty....eh...at times, but many fantasy movies/shows are visuals driven so I would forgive it that. But as Lord of the Rings I found myself disappointed at much of it. The fact one of the show runners called Tolkien's work "problematic" shows through. I started simply saying in my head "pretend its not LOTR, pretend its not LOTR" and then I liked it much more. Tolkien spent his life creating the world of Middle Earth that has brought so much entertainment and joy to so many and I fear if he was alive to see this he would not be happy. If this were just another fantasy show I may give it 8 out of 10, but as Lord of the Rings, I say 4 out of 10.
