Purchased this item along with a Kindle Fire HD 8 for Kids SPECIFICALLY to allow child to program this lego robot using a tablet SAFELY. As it turns out, the LEGO BOOST app for the robot will not go past the initial build instructions without enabling Location Services on the table. This service is disabled on a Kindle for Children specifically because it compromises online safety. The developers of the LEGO are at fault for this since there is no legitimate technical reason why the app designed to program a robot 5 feet away from the tablet requires knowing the physical location of the child. The resulting technical glitch is a joke, it prevents the product from being used unless as a parent you agree to allow our child to use the product in an unsafe manner. Returning the product since it ignores the online safety of children. Disappointed since I expected more from LEGO, it would have been nice if the developers had thought through what they were doing when requiring Location Services on a product that does not require it.
