Don't buy this. There is nothing remotely heavy-duty or industrial-grade about this machine. I know the difference I have a Sail-Rite. I bought this for apparel use and it won't even do that. I can't get it to sew consistently through the leg seam on my son's baseball pants without jamming or the motor clutch stalling. This is with a lighter fabric. Denim would be a total no-go.
