I've used EcoTools brushes for years. I bought this set specifically because of the packaging advertised. Brushes: consistent decent quality that EcoTools provides for the price. Soft synthetic bristles with metal tooled well enough that it won't cut you. Bamboo handles, although now I wonder if even that is correct. Packaging: the photos will show what was advertised (which is what I purchased) and what I received. Non-recyclable plastic, certainly no metal case, and non-compostable/non-biodegradable paper. In fact, no mention of what was advertised anywhere other than the name of the set. The paper product had brush-use tips and a picture of a plastic tray that has pieces not received, nor would I want them. I take great care to order items that will do as little harm to the planet as possible. This purchase would have fulfilled some of those criteria had I actually received what was advertised. Some companies actually are committed to bettering our planet, and those are the companies I shop from. EcoTools no longer fits that description in any way, shape, or form. I will no longer be purchasing from this company.
