I am a fan of OXO. I have bought other products from them in the past that I love! However, upon receiving this item, I immediately returned it. I was looking for real microfiber, which is a blend of polyester and polyamide - typically 80/20: 80% polyester and 20% polyamide. The polyamide is the key, it is the unique material with the star-shaped fibers that do all the grabbing. Cheaper blends will be 90/10, and harder-to-find high quality blends will be 70/30. I tried to find out what the blend ratio was for this before I bought it, but it didn't say anywhere in any of the product details or customer questions. However, trusting the OXO brand, since I've had good experience with it in the past, I went ahead and bought this item. When it arrived, I checked the tag right away - and lo and behold, it said 100% POLYESTER. (See photos) As much as I love OXO, I'm giving this product only 1 star - I don't very much enjoy paying for a product that is supposed to be microfiber and then finding out it's not.
