Unfortunately this had absolutely no effect on my dog's bad habit. I have tried a variety of food additives for coprophagia and none of them have worked. I've also tried the vet-recommended "pick up the poop immediately" strategy, but it's hard to watch a dog every second. Out of desperation, I ended up buying a remote control training collar. The first time my dog wore the collar and started sniffing his poop, I delivered a simple vibration with the collar and he hasn't gone near his poop since. I didn't even have to use the "shock" mode. I should have done this a long time ago, and I strongly recommend a training collar for anyone dealing with this disgusting habit!
