Biased account of American history
If you’re looking for a non-biased, non-opiniated book on American history, this is not the book for you. It doesn’t not mention at all the traitorous actions of Benedict Arnold, yet devotes an entire chapter to Oprah Winfrey. The author has no problem vilianizing the “white” man (in many cases justified) but insists on using the term African-American to describe historical events before that title existed. This book is a very liberal leaning and political account of American history.
