I bought this from another outlet. This printer is decently fast and quiet. There is no toner continue mode so the cartridges cannot be refilled. Brother has a reputation for signaling the toner is low when it may or may not be but this is the first one that has not had an override so it could continue printing until print quality decreased. When Brother says it is out it is out whether it is or not and the printer shuts down. I just spent half the price of the printer on aftermarket cartridges. Genuine cartridges would have been near the cost of the printer. To reinforce the being out if they are or not I got only half the expected 1000 pages out of the starter cartridges and it is dead in it's tracks.
