All I bought this for was to find my phone. double-clicking the SmartTag only works if you have opened SmartThings. If you're phone has rebooted (like mine does automatically a couple of times a week), it doesn't work, the tag just sits there and beeps incessantly. If I've miss placed my phone and SmartThings hasn't been opened, I'm SOL. As far as I can tell, there's no option to always have SmartThings run in the background, even on reboot. Anyway, unless you're disciplined enough to remember to open SmartThings everytime you reboot your phone, I wouldn't recommend this gizmo for the reasons above
