Best coffee maker I've ever had! NOT
First off, for a duo (K-cups and drip brew), this machine is remarkably stream-lined and space efficient. The water canister can be placed on either side or in the back, making it that much easier to fit it into your available space. The carafe is high quality and very well insulated, keeping your coffee fresh and hot. I, personally, drink tea, not coffee, but I got hooked on Keurig, when I tasted their Earl Grey K-Cups. What I particularly appreciate about Keurig's design is that I can brew a K-cup of tea right after my hubby drip-brews coffee, and there is no coffee taint in my tea. You don't even have to take out the used grounds from the drip brewer (unless that's how you're brewing your tea, of course). My husband likes that he can program the timer to start his coffee in the mornings, and, although that's not an unusual feature on coffee makers these days, he mentioned that it was very easy to figure out how to do it and get the machine set up. When the whole K-cup craze started, I was skeptical, but no longer. Keurig makes a quality, well-designed, intuitive product, which is easy to use and produces a superior brew. I can't recommend this machine enough, and my husband finally has the coffee maker of his dreams. EDIT******* Three weeks after getting this coffee maker, the drip-brew function stopped working. Not completely, but it was very slow and would only brew about half of a carafe. I contacted Keurig, via email, which said it would be responded to within twelve hours--it has been four days now, with no response. A small caveat here: a piece of paper came with the Keurig with a phone number on it, saying to contact them with any problems, not Amazon. This piece of paper disappeared, as lone pieces of paper often do, so I readily admit that I did not initiate contact as I was instructed. Also, since I got this for free through the Vine Program, I wasn't really expecting a whole new coffee maker or anything, but an acknowledgment would have been nice. As far as I can tell, this particular model is not yet out for mass sale, and I sincerely hope they figure out why it would quit working after three weeks, before they roll it out.
