I bought this sheet because it is made of organic cotton, and has a 9" depth. I use a wool topper on my baby's mattress, and I am looking for a sheet that is big enough to accommodate the height. It would have been a great fit. The sheet was very soft and looked wonderfully cuddly, but I was so disappointed in the toxic smell it had. It comes packaged in vinyl!! Vinyl has a high lead content and is very toxic, do your research if you don't understand why. Most consumers may be use to this vinyl smell and not give it another thought, it may just smell "normal" to them. After all most products that consumers buy is made out of this or packaged in this. Trust me, it is not good. And it is so disappointing to buy a product that is organic and find it wrapped in a toxic package causing the chemical agents to be absorbed into what was once organic cotton. I'm not sure if it will wash out or not. I read some other reviews that said: "The chemical smell did not wash out after 5 washings". So I'm not going to try it. Back it goes. My suggestion: if you have a sewing machine, it is very easy to make your own organic sheets, find a pattern on the web and buy some organic cotton fabric.
