I selected this product because i’ve experienced Klein tools for many years, and trusted their quality. In about 20 tries, after carefully reading and following the instructions, I didn’t have one successful trace. I started with an outlet/switch combination in the same room as the breaker box. I got a firm positive indication of the breaker, punched it off, and the lights stayed on. Tested a known circuit to my saw, one I installed myself, so I know the correct breaker. I got no hits at all, like the correct breaker didn’t exist. Tried the one I most wanted to identify and got a strong positive indication. Punched off the breaker and the transmitter LED remained on. Each time I tried this thing I started fresh with the receiver off. I finally resulted to the brute force method of turning off breakers until I got the right one. This device had never come close.
