Bests & Worsts Reviews from Amazon

I have no idea whats going on with some of these authors lately. Long term series that have been great in the past have been reduced to utter TRASH. And yes, I did read the reviews and had already taken this book out of the library rather than buy it. Well, i couldn't even get past page 73. i wound up just skimming through the rest randomly. What in the world was LKH thinking? Do I care that SHE is poly amorous? NO. Do I care that Anita is, YES. I can't even keep all the men straight in my mind. How many characters does one novel need? They aren't even being fleshed out correctly. No rhyme or reason. But Anita is now very insecure in her beauty and strength? BLEH. The supposed plot of the book, Zombie Porn, of course, gets very little page space. This is not the first time the premise of the book has been pushed aside for just plain sex. Where is Edward and Olaf. where are the old characters that made this series so scary good? I am so done. I will not be reading LKH again.
