They are nice, comfortable shoes and I can tell they are quality made but the front Velcro strap is just for show. I don’t like that one bit. Why would they not allow it to adjust since they went to the trouble of putting a Velcro strap there? It certainly made me think that it would adjust and I have wide feet so there are times when I’d like it a little wider and other times when I’d like a tighter like if I’m doing something active. I expected more from this company frankly and am shocked nobody commented on this major design error. If you want a recommendation, go for the newer version of this sandal, the Yucatan II. If you check out its picture side by side with this first version, they will look identical with one HUGE exception. They corrected the fake adjustment problem now. I wish someone had shared this with me before purchasing but I'm hoping that I can be of some help to someone else at least. Get version #2!
