I purchased the "Command™ Large Picture Hanging Strips" to hang four 18x24 frames in my hallway. These frames have been up for some time with no issues, however this morning I was greeted with what sounded like a truck driving through my home. Two of my 18x24 frames (that had FOUR large hanging strips sets on them each, Command suggested that we use Medium for our 18x24 frames.) fell in my hallway. Not only did the frames break and the glass shatter, but our engineered hardwood floor is damaged as well. Our children's playroom is directly across the hall from where this happened and they often play in the hall with their cars and other rolling toys. I am thanking God this happened in the middle of the night and not during the day when my children were playing directly in the falling frame's path. Furious doesn't even begin to describe my emotions right now. I followed the package directions, weighed the frames, and checked often to ensure they were sticking. I will never use this product again out of safety concerns... which is a huge bummer because I really liked not damaging my walls with nails. Instead, now, I have a damaged wall, damaged floor (in your 3 year old home), and two damaged frames and pieces of art.
