This was a terrible book. The way the women were humiliated by their husbands, and the way the characters are okay with this treatment made me sick to my stomach as I read. I was relieved to see it wasn’t a woman writing about women that way. I expected a fun romp with vampires in a southern town. Not even close. There is nothing fun or satisfying about this tale. The characters aren’t even likable. It’s gory like a bad slasher movie and just as plotless. Wish I had passed.
