The Control panel on this flat iron seems to be finicky. When you plug it in it doe indeed light up and you see the OFF indicator. However, getting it to actually turn on always seems to be a bit of a tap dance. I push the button nothing happens, I wait I push the button maybe something happens maybe something doesn't happen. It's just too unpredictable and it makes me worry that it is actually on its way to not working at all. I just bought this 2 1/2 months ago, and I don't use it every day. So I'm worried that I will never really get enough use out of it to be worth the cost. Once I actually get it to turn on, it does a fine job. But it does make me worry that the morning and I am most desperate for it, it will finally refuse to work.
