We bought this popper for our basement movie room after researching different brands, and are very pleased with our purchase. It arrived in perfect condition, was easy to set up, and is easy to operate. UPDATE: It has been just over 6 months since we purchased this popcorn machine, and within just a couple of months the plexiglass door started to crack where the screws were, and eventually the whole thing broke. After calling Discount Tommy dozens of times with no answer, and a message that said "Someone will be with you shortly" I finally left a message. I was told that the door was only covered for 30 days, even though it says that there is a 5 year warranty on manufacturer's defects. This was clearly a manufacturer's defect. I even sent them pictures showing them the damage, but was told that it would cost me $24 to replace the door. When you spend $240 on a product, it should last longer than 30 days. The only reason I am doing it is because the popcorn machine is useless without a door, but I am afraid that the same thing will happen again. I would definitely NOT purchase this machine again, but would look for a better quality machine, or at least a company that stood behind their product.
