I find using this takes longer than using a regular (human powered) file, buffer, & polisher. It took forever to file my nails & I'm not fully satisfied with the results. By the time I was nearly finished with my other hand, the batteries were just about dead. I did manage to do a quick polish & buff on my toes but the battery was so dead it just about stopped working at any sort of pressure. Another thing that makes me like manual rather than this is the vibrating makes it just about impossible to see what I'm doing while filing. Also if you have carpel tunnel or any sort of nerve damage, the vibrations become irritating to down right painful requiring repositioning my fingers to ease the discomfort. All three pads were pretty worn after only one use (both hands & feet) . On the positive side, it is very easy to change the heads. The results are about the same as doing it manually (human powered vs. battery). It takes up very little space & weighs very little. I normally use Crystal Glass Nail File, 5.5 Inches, Free Carrying Case from Sassella for filing & love it. I've been using the same file for almost five years; it works just as good as the day it was delivered. As for the rest, I don't have a favorite buffer or polisher. I just try to buy the ones with a lot of padding & wiggle room. Overall I do not recommend this product to anyone. It takes longer & costs more than doing it the old fashioned way with pretty much the same results.
