$2400 for a "1TB SSD" that's not really a 1TB SSD - BUYER BEWARE. Microsoft is cutting corners on these devices by installing 2x 512GB SSDs and running them in proprietary RAID 0. The Windows OS does not recognize the SSDs AS SSDs and views the RAID 0 array as a HARD DRIVE; rendering TRIM inoperable and useless. If just ONE of these two drives has the slightest issue, your Surface becomes an expensive paperweight and your data vanishes into thin air. HIGHLY recommend running cloud based backup software with these devices if you're saving information locally that's critical to you. Unbelievably underhanded and dishonest practice by Microsoft; will be scrutinizing all MS device purchase with extreme caution as a result, moving forward.
