I unfortunately did not read the ingredients closely enough to see that palm oil is the second ingredient in this... the palm oil industry devastates orangutan habitats/populations and is responsible for massive deforestation, animal cruelty & indigenous rights abuses, as well as contributing to climate change, as enormous areas of forest must be cleared for the palm oil plantations. I want no part in these atrocities & regret purchasing this product because of that. It is also not a healthy oil in general. It is my fault for not reading the label more closely, but I will not be purchasing it again. And I would strongly suggest that your company find another oil to use in your product. With a name like "Brookethorne Naturals" people are going to expect a "natural" bent & a consciousness from your company, so hopefully you will reconsider what kind of products you are willing to sell & put focus on being a company that people can trust without needing to scrutinize every label. Update: The company reached out to let me know they were refunding my purchase, and they also said that they believe their palm oil source to be sustainable & cruelty-free... according to my research there is not yet a true source of sustainable & cruelty-free palm oil, but I would be happy to be wrong on this! Hopefully they will update as more information is acquired. Anyway, I added another star for good customer service
