HORRIBLE!!! Shame on me for wanting to take the cheap route. This Hartz topical for cats is absolutely scary (at least for my cats). First of all- the smell is absolutely ATROCIOUS! Immediately after treating my cats, our entire home smelled like some kind of poisonous gas bomb had been set off!! We didnt even know what the smell was coming from at first- it was THAT strong!!! also- Minutes after being treated- both of my cats starting acting as if they had be poisoned. One cat was running around and hissing (at herself) and our other cat- lost some fur in the days to come. Both of them had loss of appetite and their demeanor was very “out of character” for about 4 days after. I was praying I had not treated my cats with something that was going to kill them. Seriously, the smell alone from this product should be a huge indicator that this isnt the best thing to be putting on your cat. I have never felt so cheap and bad for treating my cats as such. I cant even say if this crap really works- as I was using this as a summer preventative measure. (My cats are 90% indoors) So, Kudos to any pet owners that this product has helped...my experience was unfortunately, sheer hell for my cats.
