My wife and I really like these glasses. We're super careful with them, typically use the dishwasher to clean them and generally have been quite happy with them. That is, until last week when one of mine broke randomly in the dishwasher. We do not stack them, we don't put anything in them other than liquids, and the inside bottom shattered out. Given that these are rated as dishwasher safe, we reached out to Bodum so they could help us out. They said no, this type of issue is not covered, even though the glasses are clearly labeled as dishwasher safe. I then showed them pictures that illustrated there wasn't any impact trauma or anything that would indicate that the glasses were mistreated in any way, and was only put through a dishwasher, on normal settings, spaced well. Andre from Bodum didn't even bother to reply to my email. So yeah - hope you don't get a manufacturing defect in your glass. If you do, you're on your own, and Bodum will ignore you.
