After reading about these ' super chips' all being resistors, I took this apart which was a super task - ha - They don't want you to take it apart even though it has Phillips head screws in the ends which are either permanently Loctite applied to never come out or all 4 were cross-threaded on purpose to serve the same function of indefinite assembly. I was disappointed and wanted to leave a good review - better sales pitch on this 'performance chip' than others around, BUT: Once I finally got it open, the small circuit board has a 16 pin integrated circuit with ONLY 2 PINS SOLDERED ! - the other 14 pins do NOTHING - they are not hooked up or soldered. There is just a resistance across the only 2 pins connected (I'll keep that super secret - ha - resistor value to myself). I'm a 25+ year Electrical Engineer and I KNOW what I'm talking about. This is just an IAT/ MAP/ MAF inline resistor basically with better marketing and looks than the others - save your money and buy a resistor from Radio Shack (before they go out of business) or somewhere else - It will serve the same purpose - whatever that purpose is for you and good luck to you on that :) - Please don't waste your money.
