BE AWARE: This is like Rolling Stone magazine article W/band members being interviewed.
Let me start by saying I LOVE Kristen's books & writing. I own almost all of them. I was REALLY looking forward 2 this book & MAN am I disappointed! This is NOT a book. This is a man who works in the media interviewing band members one at a time about their live's in a band. A band that started in the 80's when they were teens singing in their garage. They are now in their 50's being interviewed. This reads like a band being interviewed for Rolling Stones Magazine. The details are so drug out I fell asleep in the 1st 3 chapters. It bounces all over the place & not in a good way. It is now, then back in the 80's, then now, then in the 90's then the 80's.....OMG!! It made my head heart. The wring gave me the impression the band member being interviewed was totally drugged out most of the time & lost & confused & using old time rock band lingo that took me a bit 2 understand. I am use 2 getting so wrapped up in Kristen's character's that I feel their every emotion & can NOT stop reading I get SO sucked in. I have 2 say, I felt nothing for anyone, I was just bored. Forced myself 2 keep reading hoping it would get better. By the middle, I couldn't take it anymore & stopped reading. I am sure a lot of you will love this "magazine interview", as for me, I would NOT read it if it were free on my Kindle Unlimited. Sorry Kristen. I will wait for your next book.
