Just received the pump and tried it out on a couple of gas cans in the garage to transfer gas to a snowblower. Worked great! I will use it to drain snowblower in the spring and to transfer gas in and out of my generator as well as 2 lawn mowers. Right now I will not be using it that much...not much snow. But in the summer I mow a lot so I can see use every 4 or 5 days. Since I am wary of reviews of failures, and the instructions say not to leave it in the gas can if not to be used for a while, I am taking it it of the can when not in use. Summer time it will stay in. I also would recommend using lithium AA batteries. They last much longer in extreme temperatures (-40 to 140 F). We get down to 0 or less in the winter and regular AA's were not cutting it in outdoor clocks and temperature sensors. The lithiums let. Update on 3/25/16. Started having intermittent problems after 3 uses over a month. Because of no customer service on a related product, I will see if I can fix this myself.
