Good SQ and unreal Bluetooth range - which is somewhat of a problem - CUSTOMER SERVICE FRAUD
The sound quality is fine for most uses - I only notice a little bit of degradation when using Qobuz from my phone to my headphone system. For this use case, direct connection from the phone gives very slightly better sound quality.
Now on to the main comment - the range. I connect to this with a Galaxy S10e and the connection range on this device is absolutely unreal. I have one of these in my detached workshop (vinyl siding), which is located over 200' away from my house (aluminum siding). I can be using my phone in the house, move to a room that faces the workshop, and will suddenly lose audio when my phone connects to this device over 200' away and thru the aluminum siding.
Sometimes my phone also refuses to connect to my car, because it has already inadvertently connected to this in the workshop. Now the signal is going thru the car, thru the family room, thru the aluminum siding and going over 200' to the workshop.
I never thought I'd complain about bluetooth with too much range, but that's where I find myself... this is just too powerful.
------------Edit-----------
The seller contacted me and offered me a $40 refund if I deleted the above (originally 3 star) review. I always assumed that less than honest sellers may operate this way, but this is the first time I've actually experienced it. What good is a review process if the seller is going to "buy-off" the reviews?
Had they simply offered the refund because the product does not work as expected, I would have updated the review for excellent customer service and given them another star. But paying to delete a review? I consider this outright fraud and it is something Amazon really should put a stop to.
