This didn't work for the first 5 days. Apparently the batteries are flighty and come off and on. Then, when it did turn on it tried to tell me every person in the house was 96 degrees. Not likely, they'd just came in from exercising in 90 degree weather. It is clearly wrong. I used the dog's ear thermometer in my dog's ear, then tried this everywhere on him. Even in his mouth on his tongue, it just kept saying 96 degrees. The ear thermometer had already told me he was 101. If you care about getting it right don't buy this. WORST OF ALL: I contacted the company told them of the problems, and to help and make this right. Their response: SILENCE. They REFUSE to REFUND without being forced by Amazon. They shouldn't be allowed on here if they won't stand behind their garbage product. Don't be fooled. You pay less you get less. Go a few dollars more expensive and get a good quality one. For the health of your family.
