Be very very clear what you are buying with QuickBooks. They engage in deceptive marketing practices. I bought what I thought was QuickBooks Desktop Pro one-time purchase one year ago on Officedepot online for $200. After one year of working with this software, where it has all our company data, it suddenly refused to open. The "subscription" had expired. Clearly QuickBooks and their channel partners are intent on maintaining ambiguity between the purchase version and the subscription version of the software, and when a customer makes an erroneous assumption, they calmly point fingers at each other. I had to shell out another $200 today to get 2018. Well, at least it will open up windows in multiple monitors.... A bitter experience overall.
