I bought 2 of these devices because I live on an island with lots of humidity and we have mosquitos everywhere. The first night I got the devices, I ran both of them in a small bedroom. My family and I were woken by the buzzing of mosquitoes by our ears all throughout the night. The next morning, my wife had 2 bites on her face and my son had 3 bites on his arms and legs. We had this device within 5 feet of where we sleep and it didn't kill even 1 mosquito. It's absolutely worthless for a bug zapper. I saw a mosquito fly right by it like it wasn't even there. It also claims there is a suction fan, but there is no fan or suction. I put a kleenex tissue right next to the device to see if there was any movement, but there was no movement at all. Also, If you run it at night in the same room you sleep, everything in the room that is lightly colored glows brightly. This is more like a blacklight than a bug zapper. I will use it next time I have a party so everything glows when my friends come over, but that is about all it is good for. Don't waste your money.
