I'm very disappointed in the Aera smart diffuser. I wanted to like it so much that I even returned the first one for a replacement, thinking maybe it was just a defective unit. The second one I received had the same problem - NOISE. This diffuser makes such a loud noise that I can't understand how anyone would think it's acceptable. It's a great concept, and the scents are very nice, but the noise literally woke me up two rooms away - I had to turn the thing off to go to sleep at night.
