Because it worked GREAT for 2 weeks, then it suddenly wouldn't turn on. I tried to contact the seller to no avail, despite it supposedly having a lifetime warranty. So I returned it under Amazon's 30-day return policy and waited a week for a replacement, thinking I just got a fluke unit. I just set up the replacement machine a few minutes ago. When I flipped the on switch there was a loud pop and flash right at the switch, then a faint smell of burning and nothing else. It won't turn on either. Two duds? Is that even possible? This is way too much money to spend not knowing if it will last long enough to be worth it, since the lifetime warranty is only as good as actually being able to get a hold of someone in the event of needing a repair or replacement. And since neither of the two units I've have had have been able to go longer than a maximum of two weeks without becoming completely unusable (1 unit lasting 2 weeks and the 2nd unit apparently shorting out instantly on flicking the switch), it doesn't make me want to try a 3rd. So, against my better judgement I tried a 3rd machine. Surely all these positive reviews means their machines actually work, right? It never turned on. Seriously, 3 machines in a row with basically the same problem. Seems like a factory defect they have no desire to fix. While owning the various machines, I received email after email from the company trying to get me to buy various other equipment they sell. Yet, every single email, except one, that I sent to them to try to discuss this problem went unanswered. And the one they did answer was simply a non-answer and no help at all. So much for a life-time warranty. So I guess I was lucky each of the machines I had that malfunctioned did so within 2 weeks and I could send them back to Amazon. Of particular note, I see that the company hasn't responded to a single complaint, unlike many companies, and offer to make things right. That should tell one something right there.
