This does not make a good cup of coffee. The water goes through the mesh very quickly so the grounds do not steep at all. It's like a cup of weak machine Brewer coffee. Our ceramic our over broke and my husband picked this up at the store thinking it would be better, but the coffee does not even come close to the full bodied and flavorful cup we were getting from a regular pour over with a paper filter. I put a paper filter in it which helped a little, but it still lets the water through too fast. And it's a pain to wash, on top of all that. I am returning it and purchasing a ten dollar ceramic one.
