The chair was easy to set-up and worked perfectly and then 4 months later it was dead.
The chair was easy to set-up and worked perfectly. My Mother loves this chair and sleeps in it all night regularly other than going to her bed. My mother weighs 170 lbs and is 5'8 and it is a fairly good fit for her. Slightly wider for her size would of been optimal though. It would probably not be big enough for someone taller or heavier in my opinion. The electronic movement seems to be a little slow compared to ones I have seen at adult day centers but for the price, as long as it keeps working that is not a problem as I'm sure the other ones I have seen are much more expensive.
Here is my update:
Last week I had to find a bolt to replace on the frame because the other one had broke off. Today it doesn't work and I see that the motor actuator has pulled apart. There are 4 metal screws holding a metal piece to a plastic piece. Very bad design, and there is no way to fix it. I'm taking my disabled mother to a furniture store tomorrow so she can have a chair that works and has a warranty that is easy to resolve if something breaks in the future.
