This review is an FYI. If you look on the label butyrate and sodium are listed separately. Sodium butyrate is a compound of sodium and butyrate contained in one molecule. The sodium and butyrate in this product are separate entities and is not really sodium butyrate. I don't know how this would affect its performance. But this product is certainly not the sodium butyrate used in clinical trials. I marked this with few stars in my review simply because of this intentional mislabeling. It may work all the same as sodium butyrate or it may work in some other fashion. But there are no clinical trials to know what exactly it will do. The mislabeling is a calculated attempt to dupe people into associating their product with birthrate used in studies.
