I didn't need much from this product, and it barely delivers. The base is narrow, making the entire unit unstable, plus the top pole doesn't screw into the base below it well. The carpeting is cheap and my cats had torn half of it off the bottom by the end of the first day. I just needed it for them to get up to a loft bed. They are hesitant to use it, and I'm sorry I wasted the money. EDIT: I've had this thing for four days. Have a look at the photo. I'm already throwing it out.
