These bags are not as eco-friendly as they try to seem; they are not compostable at home. Bags that are not compostable at home may break down into smaller pieces of plastic, so they are biodegradable, but they leave behind microplastics, which are actually worse for the environment; I don't know if that's the case with these bags but it makes me wary enough not to buy them again. Since they cannot be composted at home, they are not as safe as others I've found; my favorite kind is the Unni 100% compostable bags.
