Design and photography professionals be aware that the light bleeding is substantial. I purchased this monitor with the intent to use it for professional image post production. Despite the many reviews with black light bleed, I figured the problem probably wasn't as prevalent as it really is. When Editing blacks or dark grey, it is nearly impossible to get an accurate representation of the image because of the bleed. If you are purchasing this monitor for gaming or movie watching, the bleed is very visible and intrusive during any dark scenes or whenever there is a cut to black. I have attached an image of my bleed problem. When the screen is in full color, the colors are deep and vibrant. It is a gorgeous display. The mat finish is definitely a plus and the extra screen real estate certainly would have made this monitor the ultimate workflow optimization tool. So far, Amazon has handled my return seamlessly. Am currently waiting for the refund to appear in my statement.
